Antiaging product Metformin helps lose weight and regulate blood sugar levels

Metformin anti aging is an anti-diabetic biguanidine drug that has been introduced in the USA for treatment of type II diabetes. However several studies have shown that metformin anti aging can also aid non-diabetics in losing weight through regulating blood sugar levels.
There are several reasons for being obese, one reason amongst them is insulin. When your body produces a lot of insulin obesity can take place, this is more so if fat is stored mainly in the abdomen area. The mechanism of action takes place when you eat. Blood sugar levels increase and the more it increases the more insulin is released into your pancreas. Insulin performs by acting on your brain therefore causing hunger. This makes your liver produce fat, causing fat cells in the abdomen to fill with fat which ultimately leads to the gaining of weight.

Once you have eaten the sugar leaves your intestines heading into the bloodstream which then instantly enters your liver. The liver releases sugar back into the bloodstream causing blood sugar levels to rise. The pancreas then lets out insulin into the bloodstream in attempt to prevent blood sugar levels from rising too high. Therefore in this type of obesity it is best to avoid foods that cause a high rise in blood sugar.

Insulin triggers hunger continuously and also causes the liver to convert additional calories into fat which constricts the arteries and leads to a heart attack. Insulin is needed to keep blood sugar levels from rising high which is the cause of diabetes, heart attacks, stroke, nerve damage and kidney damage.

From as early as the mid 1990s researchers have been searching for a possible link in metformin for weight loss. A study conducted in 1996 by A. Fontbonne, M. Charles and I. Juhan-Vague that has been published in the Diabetes Care established that among its many benefits patients taking metformin were able to lose weight.

Metformin 500 mg consists of dynamic elements which are unique and recognizable among weight loss medications. The compounds are a group of drugs called biguanides and Metformin encompasses two of these joined guanidine rings. Metformin lowers sugar release from the liver thus preventing blood sugar levels from increasing very high.  As a result your body does not need the production of much insulin which causes hunger and the liver to make fat, this is particularly helpful in controlling diabetes and essentially weight loss. Currently Metformin is proving increasingly popular as a weight loss treatment alone.

A combination of glucose lowering drug Glipizide and Metformin are used to treat high blood sugar levels that are caused by type 2 diabetes. Drugs like Glyburide (Micronase, Diabeta) or Glipizide (Glucotrol) lower glucose and fall into the sulfonylurea class. However, antiaging product Metformin does not raise the amount of insulin in the blood and because of that Metformin 500 mg does not cause excessively low blood glucose levels.
