Metformin anti aging is an anti-diabetic biguanidine drug that has been introduced in the USA for treatment of type II diabetes. However several studies have shown that metformin anti aging can also aid non-diabetics in losing weight through regulating blood sugar levels.

The compounds are a group of drugs called biguanides and Metformin encompasses two of these joined guanidine rings.
